Baby Quilt Progress

A trip to the fabric store yesterday yielded a small pink chevron stripe for the border. After a trip to the gym, I will get the final borders on and then will sandwich the quilt in preparation for some simple machine quilting. Then, if there is time left in the day, or maybe even if there isn't, I am going to play with fabric ala Victoria Findlay Wolfe's "15 Minutes of Play."

  1. this is looking lovely. Not a form of exercise I would enjoy but trust you enjoyed your workout in the gym!

    1. I have come to terms with the whole gym thing. I think of it as "my" time and can daydream about my latest quilt project whilst the legs and arms are going round and round. Because I am Type 2 diabetic, it is a necessary evil.

    1. Thanks, Monica. Although I pulled everything but the backing and border fabric from my stash, it seems that it made very little dent in the amount of fabric on my shelves. It just needs the binding sewn down this evening and then i will post a picture of the finished quilt.
