Shell Game

I thought the shelter at home situation would spur me to complete things and get focused. Not a chance. I have started a new project with Gyleen Fitzgerald through an online workshop she is running on her Facebook page. We are using her Polygon and Polygon 2 tools. She is creating this on the fly, so right now we are just making blocks. Her original plan was to use plaids and stripes, but many of us don't have the collection that she has so we are using what we have. Gyleen says the wilder the better, as if I needed any encouragement.

Checking In

I am well and self-isolating despite the fact that the governor of our state (Missouri) has done nothing to ensure that the entire state is on the same page. Thanks goodness for local officials who are. Just checking in to say everything is fine here.Lots of quilting going on, also knitting,  gardening, and reading. If I get really bored I might even clean out closets or organize my sewing room.

Organized Chaos

My latest finish, just back from a friend who bound it for me. She has been laid up with surgery and wanted something to do. The pattern is by Sujata Shah. It was quilted by Sandi Wagner.
