The last step in Bonnie Hunter's Easy Street Mystery Quilt was revealed this morning. It's going to take a few days to get all the blocks pieced together from what has been made so far. Here is a look at my progress:
Going to work all day on this. Well, in between errands, that is. I watched a Ricky Tims video last night, "Grand Finale". I want to master his technique for piped binding, all done by machine. I like putting on binding and enjoy the process of hand stitching as the last step on a quilt. However, the piped binding must be done by machine. So, today I am on the hunt for a cording foot for my machine.
Hey, it looks great! And it has all come together so quickly, too. That's going to be a nice quilt when you're done. Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am quite pleased with the outcome, although a bit daunted at how much there is still left to do.
Deleteyou certainly are very quick with your blocks, this is looking wonderful no doubt by the time I have blinked it will be finished miss speedy.
