Clue #3 of Bonnie Hunter's 2016 mystery quilt, En Provence, calls for 168 purple four-patch blocks. I made 171; it's always good to have a few extra. Besides sewing like crazy for the mystery quilt, I have been working on another African-themed baby quilt and quilting the first one I made.

I made a few extra, too. Great work!
ReplyDeleteI really like your cooler range of purples. They will look awesome with your magenta!
ReplyDeleteI never expected to have this much time to catch up on other projects. But I hope I'm using the time wisely!
Lovely colours in these units, but I fear it is the calm before the storm. I have never been up to date on a mystery before.
ReplyDeleteI have usually been able to keep up, but it has been curiously easy so far.
Deletecertainly lots of blocks made here, it is so hard to find purple fabric here in the UK, at the last quilt show only found 2 that I could buy.
ReplyDeleteWay to keep up ME! I love the African Baby Quilt too! I can't wait to see your next one!
