Grand Illusion Step 2

Here's a small selection from the 100 blocks we need to make for this week's step 2 of Bonnie Hunter's Grand Illusion. I have completed 76. 24 more to go. I feel confident that this step will be finished later today! Go here for Linky Monday. You can see what everyone else is doing on this mystery quilt.

  1. trying to picture this quilt as you have had 2 bocks so far but each has been done 100 times, it is going to be massive or have I misunderstood

    1. The blocks we have made so far finish at 4" x 4". The finished quilt is 88" x 88" which works out to 7744 square inches. We have made 200 4" blocks so far. That only works out to 3200 square inches. We aren't even halfway yet!

  5. I think this is looking quite promising! I also think the black and white fabrics were a good call, the design is really going to pop. Onwards!
