It snowed here overnight and the the snow is still falling, although at a slower pace than early this morning. As you can see by the photo, there is 6.5 inches on the ground at present. The photo was taken of the snow on top of the Weber grill in the back yard.
This is one of the projects on my design wall today. It is "Christmas Lights" by Alex Anderson.
I can hear the roar of snow blowers wielded by my neighbors. We don't own one, so later today it will be snow shovels for us as we labor to clear out the driveway.
will we be seeing a snowman soon in your garden? Both the Christmas lights and the celtic solstice look great
ReplyDeleteBusy girls
ReplyDeleteLove both design walls. Hope one of your neighbors was kind enough to plow you out. Stay warm inside and keep on stitching.
ReplyDeleteCeltic Solstice looks awesome! Your clear colours really pop. I like your take on Alex's trees too!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas trees look cute, and your mystery quilt is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLooking good! You are such a busy little beaver.
ReplyDeleteI'm making progress, but very slowly. My stash is exhausted of the golden yellows and teal greens that I need, so I'll need to get to the fabric stores when the weather permits. My quilt must to be completed in time for our 2015 Quilt Expo. It would be great to have a bunch of Celtic Solstice quilts displayed together.
I like your measurement tool for your snow. I told my DH that we needed something like that and he just rolled his eyes. Your CS is looking good and like your Christmas lights quilt too.
ReplyDeleteWhat does he want to measure it with?
Deletelooking good!
