Slow But Steady Progress

I actually have five rows completed but discovered an error that I have to fix. One of the patches that helps to make the secondary shape (the very lightest patch with the triangle in it) was sewn in upside down. I kept up with all the clues as they were posted, but now find myself very much behind when comparing myself to others - at least one of whom made the king-sized version - on the Facebook page. Doubtless, though, there are others who have made even less progress than I.

  1. shame about the error, however I could not spot it but once you have seen it it seems to stick out like a sore thumb, best of luck sorting it out, it is all looking great to me

    1. Margaret, I hope you didn't wear out your eyes looking for the mistake. I corrected it before taking the photo.

  2. Your colours are fantastic, Mary Ellen, the quilt is almost like stained glass. I'd rather have a good finish than a fast finish (as you well know), so console yourself with the thought that your quilt will be one of the nicest!

  3. It looks gorgeous! I like the suggestion of curves achieved with straight seams.

  4. Your colors and piecing are perfect ME! Do you use various pieces of yardage you have on hand, or do you use scraps, or a mixture of both?

  5. I used a mix of stash and scrap strips cut according to Bonnie's scrap saver system.
